Ellen has been working at Columbus State Community College for eight years. She currently works in strategic enrollment management at Columbus State Community College and is responsible for the development and implementation of dynamic plans to support student success and retention. She formulates classroom activities designed to stimulate student leadership development, team building skills, collaboration techniques and customer service skills. Ellen also served as adjunct instructor in developmental education, helping new students maximize their personal growth and identity and develop their management style. She also advised students on both academic and personal needs as an academic counselor and interim counselor.

Not only does Ellen have a strong background in professional development strategies, but also in the medical field where she held various positions in the hospital laboratory during the ten years she worked at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Additionally, she was a self-employed sales consultant and director for Mary Kay Cosmetics with 75 direct sales consultants reporting to her.

Ellen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Otterbein College and a Master of Education in higher education administration from Ohio University. She is also MBTI certified.

While her skills are many, Ellen specializes in conducting workshops on mission statement development, change management, business communications, networking and customer service. She also provides keynote presentations on the following topics: training seminars, designing and facilitating retreats, facilitating group processes and coaching.
